To get started, I believe having well run retrospectives focused around the basics of product, people and process are a good start. Usually, someone like an agile coach can help kick this process off — the most important things are to really drive a productive conversation and create an environment of psychological safety. As that becomes part of the habit of the team, it can become possible to build more formal structures into the teams ways of working.
